



Istanbul Kültür University Design Factory, financially supported by Istanbul Development Agency, started its activities with a recent and entertaining theme with the workshop on “Digital Production of Content Techniques” held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. In the event where the founder of moblobi.com Burcu Aydın was a guest, the dynamics of digital platforms, how to produce effective content on social media platforms and how to become a qualified content producer were discussed.



“Creative Leadership Workshop” was held on Monday, October 31 in cooperation with the Design Factory, which was implemented by Istanbul Kültür University with the support of Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA), and the Department of New Media and Communication. In the workshop, where Leadership and Team Management Trainer Ejder Aydoğdu was a guest, Aydoğdu explained how to be a creative and qualified leader with fun activities. At the event, ways to become a creative leader, who can take responsibility and is solution-oriented, were discussed.
Istanbul Kültür University Design Factory Project, financially supported by Istanbul Development Agency (IDA), held the 2nd Evaluation Board meeting on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. Honourable Sami Kuşçu as project partners and participants of Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, Honourable Deniz Üstüner as the representative of the Association of Documentary Filmmakers, T.C.
A seminar was held at Ataköy Campus on Thursday, September 15 within the scope of the introducing and informing activities of the “Design Factory” project, which was implemented by İstanbul Kültür University with the support of the Istanbul Development Agency (İSTKA).
Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Chairperson of the Board of Trustees Dr. Bahar Akıngüç Günver paid a visit to the construction of the “Design Factory”, supported by the Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA), which is near completion, on Monday, August 22. Stating that she is happy IKU is hosting a project that will mark the field of creative industries in Turkey, Dr. Bahar Akıngüç Günver, said that the Design Factory is a pioneering project and that she believes IKU will execute the project in the best way.
The second follow-up meeting of the Design Factory Project, which started to be carried out in December 2021 with the financial support of the Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA), was held on Wednesday, April 20, at the Ataköy campus of Istanbul Kültür University.
Within the scope of the project carried out to strengthen the design and creation ecosystem of Istanbul, young creators between the ages of 15-29 who study in the field of 'Creative Industries' will come together with experts in the sector.
The Design Factory, which was established by the Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA) within the scope of the Creative Industries Financial Support Program, was explained to our deans at the introductory meeting, which was held with the participation of the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Istanbul Kültür University Dr. Bahar Akıngüç Günver and Rector of IKU Hanife Öztürk Akkartal on Friday, April 22, 2022.
The Design Factory Project, supported by the Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA), held its first Evaluation Board meeting on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Erhan Arslan from the Turkish Enterprise and Business Confederation (TÜRKONFED), Yasin Ali Türkeri from the Documentary Filmmakers Association (BSB), Project Academic Coordinator Assist. Prof. Gabriela Oana Olaru, Project Coordinator Zelal Fahrioğlu and Event Coordinator Sıla Pamuk attended to the meeting.
